Hi there! I want to first welcome you to medical school! It will be a tough road but I am here to hopefully take some of the burden off. To succeed in medical school, I believe you must bring your whole self to the table; your personality, your sense of humor, and most importantly, your heart.
I started working on this blog in 2019; taking months at a time off. However, now as a carribean medical student I feel there are many rumors and stigmas that float around. Makin' it to Medicine is my effort to provide a place for international medical students to come without fear of judgement. All of us are just as competent as any other medical student. This is why I focus I spreading resources and study tips. Many times it's not that people don't know the material, they just aren't sure how to process the massive amount of material that is expected of medical students.

HOW MY SITE CAN BE OF USE TO YOU!
I have taken the time layout all my study material on my website for your perusal. You can chose a block from the drop down menu found at the top of the page. Most the resources are free or low cost, however if you check out the "paid resources page" I have compiled a list of the best of best resources around. However, as expected all great things come at a great price! In general, my blog will focus on low priced resources because as medical students we have limited funds.

Wondering how to implement these resources into the material your school gives you? It's simple, go to lecture, take clear concise notes & reinforce the concepts with the resources I have outlined in each block.
